GRIP is an independent Montreal based video game technology company and developer of the innovative GRIP Digital ExtraTM System(x) and GRIP Character Control System(x). Current and past customers include Intel (PROJECT OFFSET), Electronic Arts (ARMY OF TWOTM: THE 40TH DAY*) and Eidos (DEUS EXTM 3**).
Dr. Paul A. Kruszewski – President & Founder
As President of GRIP, Dr. Paul draws on his experience as a successful technical visionary and entrepreneur in the video game industry to manage GRIP external relationships and define GRIP culture.
Prior to GRIP, Paul was the founder of BioGraphic Technologies, the creator of the artificial intelligence video game technology AI.implant which was sold into some of the world’s largest video game Publishers including Electronic Arts and Vivendi Universal Games. In 2005, BioGraphic was acquired by Engenuity Technologies, a Montreal-based simulation company where Paul became CTO. Previous to BioGraphic, Paul was A2M’s first CTO where he managed the transition from PS1 to PS2 game development.
Paul is respected around the world as visionary in artificial intelligence and real-time computing. He holds a bachelor of computer science from the University of Alberta and a winner of the prestigious NSERC 67 scholarship. Paul also holds a M.Sc. and Ph.D. of computer science from McGill University. His theses synthesized the fields of probabilistic analysis, branching theory and computer graphics.
Aaron Davey – VP of Production & Co-Founder
As Vice President of Production Aaron is responsible for product development, custom services delivery and operational best practices.
Most recently Aaron Davey was the Director of Operations, Games & Entertainment for Engenuity Technologies in Montreal where he managed the business unit responsible for the multiple award winning artificial intelligence product AI.implant.
Prior to Engenuity, Aaron spent over four years at NGRAIN Corporation in Vancouver where he held the roles of Director, Product Management, and Director, Strategic Planning & Alliances. While at NGRAIN, Aaron was responsible for selecting target industries for NGRAIN’s advanced 3D simulation and visualization technology and was critical to the successful penetration of the North American aerospace & defence market.
Aaron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby BC. |
